Adam Spivey on Point of Clarification: Hasn’t there been some contention to BSU’s absences?
Jisha Jose: Yes, too many absences, held to same rules as other senators
Dave Wilson: The can regain their seat with a 2/3 vote of the senate

President’s Report:
Need a senator to represent Student Government on the Spirit Week Committee that is available Thursday’s at 11am.
Please stay after the meeting if you are available so that we may revisit some of the goals that we set for the year.
Vice President’s Report:
Student Life Committee passed a resolution to rename University Activities to Student Activities over the next two years phased in
No SLC meeting next week
Appointed a new at-large member: Brett McNeil
Chancellor’s office: Election yesterday. Governor-elect Scott Walker speaking with UW Board of Regents tomorrow. Will be video-streamed.
Takes office January 1st, budget will be out around February
Parliamentarian Common Law holding for the case of Jose v Bullocks and Jose v BSU
Common Law holding available in the office of Parkside Student Government
Summary: The absences of Bullocks and BSU shall count as 2 as of October 21st. No legal action to be taken against Bullocks of BSU for alleged actions since any punishment would be retroactive.

Don Lockwood on Point of Information: if you sign in on the clipboard doesn’t that mean you are working on PSG things regardless of if you are in the office?
Jisha: No, the clipboard is only for saying you were in the office. Office hours outside the office need to be e-mailed.
Legislative Affairs Director’s Report:
E-mailed Jisha the word document of all the candidates winning election races pertinent to Kenosha and Racine and their contact information. Will be passed on to senators.
Information on nation-wide increases in tuition, remedial course work, and distance learning
Senate announcements: Jisha made a suggestion to the Executive Board that stipend positions report their activities bi-weekly for accountability for their position
Don Lockwood: Planning a veteran’s day celebration in Main Place the 11th at noon.
